How PONDWATCH™ works

Position the anchor in the pond and drop the PONDWATCH buoy in the water. Turn the power switch on.

Once PONDWATCH begins taking measurements, the data is transmitted wirelessly to a secure online portal.

View the data anywhere and anytime you have an internet connection by logging into the portal. Access to the data can easily be shared with your team.

PONDWATCH is easy to maintain and can be moved to other locations as needed.

FEATURES

Compact, rugged design: Designed and built to withstand year-round installation in both wastewater and stormwater ponds. The novel floatation system and anchor attachment provides for both stability and ease of installation/removal. 

Integrated sensors for pond management

Water depth transducer: Provides high accuracy pond depth measurements over wide measurement ranges.

Ice thickness transducer: The patent pending ice thickness transducer measures ice thickness up to 16 inches with a resolution down to 1 inch.

Temperature measurement: Ambient and water/ice temperature measurements allow insight into current conditions above and below the surface.

Optional transducers: Dissolved oxygen, pH, and conductivity measurements are available for additional pond operation insights.

Wireless connectivity: An integrated 4G modem uploads sensor measurements in real time. 

Long battery life: The electronics and battery are designed to provide long run times and are easily maintained.

Cloud-based Portal

A secure link to the on-line portal is provided to the owner of the PONDWATCH unit.

The portal can be viewed on your computer or mobile device. The current pond depth is displayed graphically, providing insights into short-term and long-term trends.

Get current measurements on water temperature, ice depth, and any optional parameters (if additional sensors are installed). 

Data can also be exported for further analysis and modeling.
